…something borrowed, something blue.

Marrying the old athlete’s with a new venue, under a new name became reality today with the first session at Factory BJJ.

The sparkling blue mats kindly donated by Revolution’s Phil Wright were laid out for the opening session and fun was had by all.

With the small talk out of the way the training began with a Ginastica Natural inspired warm-up .

After everyone was warm and with it being the first session we just had a relaxed open mat rolling session.

Rolling - Factory BJJ

We all had a good roll and those who weren’t familiar with the facilities got the chance to have a look around and sample the private showers and plasma screen in the changing room. (I’m being serious)

So thanks guys for coming down and making the first session a success. With more mats and people on the way and a positive reaction from everyone involved, we’re all looking forward to training and developing at the new venue.

Hope to see you down there soon,

Adam Adshead and all at Factory BJJ

Thanks to Johnny Crimpo for the photos.

Out of interest, where is the club located? Couldn’t see a listing, but was wondering where it was so I could add it to the map (does HTML work on here? As otherwise the preceding is going to look like a big mess…).

I’ve seen your map and I think its a really great idea. So good on you for putting it together. 🙂

Drop me your email via the contact form in the ‘About me’ section or on here and I’ll drop you a line.

Thanks for checking us out.
